We manufacture on-site diluted Sodium Hypochlorite plants.
The plant shown below manufactures a maximum of 196 litres of diluted sodium hypochlorite per hour at strength of 0.8% or 800PPM. This equates to 1.568 kg of equavalent HTH per hour.
This is a complete Sodium Hypochlorite Plant manufactured for Algiers.
The reason behind an on-site diluted Sodium Hypochlorite Plant is simply the cost effectiveness. This system of producing potable water is 85% cheaper than any other method of using chlorine.
We are striving towards installing as many plants as possible in Africa, especially rural areas.
All the islands around the world can benefit from this system as seawater, being in the region of 3.4%, is already the raw material required for the manufacture of Sodium Hypochlorite.

Excerpt from Mining Weekly (Algiers Plant)
Sodium hypochlorite produced inline will discourage any type of crustacean build-up. Its strength will depreciate as the disinfection process continues.
The exact amount of available chlorine at the end will be determined by the test for chlorine, example even at 10PPM, if this is discharged into the sea, an immediate dissipation will occur rendering the entire area safe.

We have installed a Plant at Imjindini Trust that pumps water from a borehole to a pressure tank, ready to dose 1000 litres water, directly to the community.
See below a report on the water test done.
